Dating a kentucky quilt
Another QAL I'm working on is The Temperature Quilt hosted by Twiddletails. She mainly guides you on how to get started and I believe we will be posting our progress on instagram. And the Pantone color for that year was Aqua Sky so I plan on doing mostly blues and aquas or use it as an accent color to the warmer hues of the hot Florida temperatures. As you can see I've thought way too much about the weather! I think someone forgot to mention to Mother Nature it's winter here!I'm doing the highs and lows, using a 2.5" x 4.5" rectangle for the highs and a 2.5" square for the lows. She has entrusted her beautiful disappearing 4/9 patch quilt.
My thought is using different shades of Aurifil thread to do a disappearing stitches on the wide sashing she used to make her quilt more the size she wanted. If you haven't joined in on the One Monthly Goal I strongly suggest it!

While in my mind the design is wonderful I can't seem to get it on paper to confirm my vision. I like the motivation it gives me to complete or at least make a good dent in a project.
